Sends an Inspiring Message to Our Junior Anglers

We are thrilled to share a special message from none other than Dave Shires, the winner of FishOMania and an inspiration to anglers everywhere. Dave recently reached out to our club, and his words are sure to motivate and encourage all of our junior members as they continue their angling journeys.

Dave’s Message to Our Juniors:

“Morning everyone, Matthew got in touch with me and told me about your angling club. I’ve seen some photos of you guys fishing, and it looks like a great club with lots of determined young anglers. I started out with a similar club in Wakefield, run by Frank Wright and Harry Lodge. It’s taken me a while to get where I am, but if I can achieve it, so can you!
Keep trying hard and never give up—you never know what you might be able to achieve.”
