Junior Angling Coaching at Weston-super-Mare South Drain

Join Somerset Youth Angling Club for an exciting junior coaching session on the South Drain in Weston-super-Mare — a brilliant venue for learning the art of natural-water fishing. Perfect for juniors, families, and beginners, this session focuses on teaching traditional coarse angling skills in a relaxed, fun, and supportive setting. 

Our qualified Level 2 Angling Coaches will guide young anglers through everything from safe fish handling and whip fishing to feeding accuracy and float control. The South Drain is known for its abundance of roach, rudd, skimmers, perch, and eels, providing plenty of action and opportunities to learn. 

This event supports the Angling Trust’s Get Fishing campaign, helping the next generation gain confidence and enjoyment through angling. All equipment is provided, and every participant will receive personalised coaching in a safe, fully-supervised environment.
