Everyone works so hard to ensure our children catch something

Every match we have been to as been an absolute pleasure all of my children love fishing and have had the pleasure to fishing in the canal, river, commercials and even the nationals with the club. Matt, Kim and the rest of the volunteers put in so much time and effort to make each and every person feel welcome and ensure you child catches.

The sense of community and support here is incredible

My daughter has truly blossomed since joining the Somerset Youth Angling Club. Fishing with her grandad has always been a special time for her, but the club has taken her enthusiasm to a whole new level. She’s learned so much from the experienced anglers and has made wonderful friends along the way. The sense of community and support here is incredible, and it’s been a joy to see her confidence grow with each fishing trip. Somerset Youth Angling Club has given her memories she’ll cherish forever and skills that will last a lifetime.

New to fishing

My son Jack is new to fishing, and joining the Somerset Youth Angling Club has been a fantastic experience for him. The organizers are incredibly helpful at each match, providing guidance and support that have made a huge difference. Jack enjoys every moment on the water, and I truly appreciate the dedication and kindness of the club’s team.
