Junior Angling Coaching at Viaduct Fisheries, Somerton, Somerset

Experience the thrill of fishing with Somerset Youth Angling Club at the legendary Viaduct Fisheries — one of the South West’s most iconic angling venues. Our junior angling coaching sessions at Viaduct focus on developing key coarse fishing techniques in a fun, friendly, and fully-supervised environment. 

Led by qualified Level 2 Angling Coaches, juniors will learn everything from safe fish handling and whip fishing to pole control, feeding patterns, and watercraft awareness. Viaduct’s beautifully maintained lakes are home to carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, and F1s, offering the perfect balance of bites and excitement for all abilities. 

These sessions are run in partnership with the Angling Trust’s Get Fishing campaign, encouraging young anglers to get outdoors, build confidence, and enjoy fishing as part of an inclusive community. All tackle and bait are provided — just bring your enthusiasm!
