Join Somerset Youth Angling Club for an exciting junior angling coaching session at Avalon Fisheries, one of Somerset’s most scenic and well-stocked venues. This session is perfect for juniors, families, and beginners looking to learn new fishing skills in a safe, friendly, and supportive environment. 

Our qualified Level 2 Angling Coaches will teach key coarse fishing techniques — from whip and pole fishing to feeding, striking, and handling fish with care. Avalon’s lakes are brimming with roach, rudd, skimmers, tench, F1s, and carp, making it a great place to gain confidence and catch fish of all sizes. 

Delivered in partnership with the Angling Trust’s Get Fishing campaign, this event helps inspire the next generation of anglers to enjoy the outdoors and develop lifelong skills. All tackle and bait are provided, and every child receives one-to-one guidance throughout the session.
