Junior Angling Coaching at Summerlane, Weston-super-Mare

Come and join Somerset Youth Angling Club for an exciting junior coaching session at Summerlane in Weston-super-Mare — the perfect setting for young anglers to learn, laugh, and cast their way to success! 

Our qualified Level 2 Angling Coaches will introduce juniors and families to the fundamentals of coarse fishing, from whip and pole fishing to bait presentation, feeding, and fish care. The peaceful and well-stocked waters at Summerlane make it ideal for beginners to catch roach, rudd, skimmers, perch, and small carp, all while gaining confidence on the bank. 

Every coaching session is delivered in partnership with the Angling Trust’s Get Fishing campaign, promoting inclusive, fun, and safe access to angling for everyone. With all tackle provided and expert guidance throughout, this is the perfect opportunity for local children to try fishing for the first time or improve their skills.
